Finally it has come with a philippine version, i do really enjoy watching the next top model series from america to aussie version, now it has come to the the philippines and yes the news are geeting so bigger it’ll be hosted by Ruffa Guttierez. I just browsin the net when i heard the lates buzz about it, actually i already heard it before i think last june or by the time when cycle 6 of ANTM has got it conclusion. I dunno what will happen to the show but in fact… i want to share this guys with you! I had an experience of making TV Script for our Mawrite class last term, and i tend to choose to make one about the philippine version of ANTM… fortunately i didn’t expect this to happen that there is really a big plan to make it possible. It’s just a matter of fortunate events.. sikes.

Actress and ex-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez will host the Philippine version of popular US fashion-reality TV-show “Next Top Model”, a local newspaper reported Wednesday.

Gutierrez, a former Miss World runner-up and now married to a wealthy Turkish businessman, is in town for a contract signing with Solar Entertainment Corp., which bought the local franchise of the top rating foreign show.

“America’s Next Top Model”, currently being showed in a cable TV channel, is hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks.

“The ‘Philippines’ Next Top Model’ aims to redefine Filipino fashion and showcase local talent as the next biggest and hottest supermodel on the international scene,” Wilson Tieng, head of Solar Entertainment, was quoted as saying by the Philippine Star.

Auditions will start in October. The show will premiere in January next year on RPN 9.

Gutierrez is no stranger to the fashion scene. She heads Fashion TV Turkey, a franchise which her husband Ylmaz Bektas bought for her to run as a business in Istanbul.
